The Commissioner can make a crime and disorder reduction grant to any person or organisation in Merseyside helping to tackle these issues in the region.
These grants are used to help the Commissioner achieve the aims in her Police and Crime Plan while making Merseyside a safer place to live.
In 2024/25, the Commissioner awarded grants totalling £1.887m to the region's Community Safety Partnerships.
These grants are used to prevent and cut crime, reduce re-offending and improve community safety.

The Community Safety Partnerships for each Local Authority may produce an annual report or delivery plan to detail the work they carry out using this funding and funding from other sources.
